The method applied was the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through the stages of Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, and Destiny, involving observation, interviews, socialization, and participatory training. The results showed that corn cob waste, which had previously been discarded, can be processed into briquettes using simple technology, low costs, and abundant raw materials. The production process includes burning the corn cobs into charcoal, grinding, mixing with natural binders, molding, and drying. This program has enhanced community skills, reduced agricultural waste, and created new business opportunities. Challenges encountered include the dependence on sunlight for drying and limited marketing reach. Future development can be achieved through the establishment of joint business groups, packaging innovation, and expansion of distribution networks.
2025-10-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Za'im Muhibbulloh, Dito Amanda Putra, Anikmah, Fiya Fidiyanti, Evita Zayyinatul Fitrotin, Achmad Wahyu Priyo Utomo, Istiqomatin Nisa', Amirur Rosidah, Sukron Ma'mun Andika, Siti Roudlotun Nashihah, Abdul Latif Akbar Wijaya, Ilham Tri Wahyudhihttp://pakisjournal.com/index.php/mestaka/article/view/777Konservasi Burung Endemik Nuri Talaud melalui Pendekatan Partisipatif Masyarakat Lokal2025-10-12T22:39:26+00:00Nindya Duta Sarirelatamirenita11@gmail.comA. This conservation program aims to preserve the Talaud Parrot population through a participatory approach involving local communities. The methods applied include population monitoring and conservation outreach, training in integrated organic farming using permaculture methods as an alternative livelihood, as well as rehabilitation and release of rescued birds at the Tasikoki Wildlife Rescue Center. Educational activities were carried out through school-based awareness programs and eco-camp events to instill conservation awareness from an early age. The results of the program showed increased community understanding and participation in the conservation of endemic birds, reduced hunting activities, and the establishment of an organic farmers’ group in Dapalan Village as a form of environmentally friendly economic empowerment. The program also strengthened synergy among institutions—Pertamina, the Masarang Foundation, the North Sulawesi BKSDA, and local communities—as a model of multi-stakeholder partnership in community-based conservation. The ecological, social, and economic impacts demonstrate that participatory conservation efforts are effective in reducing illegal wildlife trade and improving community welfare. Overall, this program serves as a tangible example of sustainable collaboration to protect the biodiversity and ecological identity of the Talaud Islands.
2025-10-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nindya Duta Sari, A. Abdurrahman Wahidafifahpipit091@gmail.comSiti Fatimahafifahpipit091@gmail.com
In order to enhance information technology competency, including in the village economic sector, cooperation between the academic and industrial sectors is required by the digital age and Industrial Revolution 4.0. As is the situation in Teluk Dalem Village, many Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are still falling behind in their embrace of technology despite the prospects for economic digitization. Efficiency, accountability, and local economic growth are hampered by the BUMDes' continued reliance on manual procedures for recordkeeping, promotion, and services in this hamlet. This program's objective is to enhance BUMDes managers' capabilities by providing them with relevant and organized training on service digitization. Observation, the creation of training materials, interactive training, and the creation and deployment of digital technologies tailored to local requirements were all components of the descriptive qualitative, participatory approach. According to the program's findings, BUMDes managers' knowledge and proficiency with digital tools, including management software, social media digital marketing, and a Google Sheets-based transaction tracking system, have significantly increased. The initiative was successful in boosting service efficiency and transparency while also boosting managers' confidence to keep coming up with new ideas. This initiative demonstrates that digitization is a comprehensive transformation approach in village economic management that goes beyond a technical fix to usher in the inclusive and sustainable Society 5.0 era.
2025-10-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Pipit Afifah, Siti Khomsiyati, Moh.
