Anemia remains an important health problem among adolescent girls because rapid growth and menstruation increase iron requirements. School-based iron supplementation is a strategic preventive intervention, but its effectiveness is influenced by adolescents’ knowledge, attitudes, and adherence to consuming iron tablets. This community service activity aimed to empower adolescent girls through health education to improve knowledge and attitudes toward iron tablet supplementation as an anemia prevention effort. The activity was conducted at SMKS Koperasi Kota Pontianak and involved 25 adolescent girls. The implementation consisted of preparation and coordination with the school, development of an educational mini book, pretest, interactive education, discussion and question-and-answer sessions, distribution of iron tablets, and posttest evaluation. The evaluation showed that the mean knowledge score increased from 60 (range 50–70) before education to 85 (range 75–100) after education, representing an increase of 25 points. Participants also demonstrated a more positive attitude toward routine iron tablet consumption. The activity indicates that school-based education using accessible print media can strengthen adolescents’ understanding and positive attitudes toward anemia prevention. Continued collaboration among schools, health workers, and educational institutions is recommended to support sustained education, monitoring, and adherence to iron tablet consumption.
