Author Guidlines

  1. General Requirements

The manuscript of the article received is an article manuscript that has never been submitted to any journal, whether it has been published or is still in the process of being reviewed.

The article manuscript is the result of community service that has relevance to the field of fisheries and marine affairs

The article is attached to an affidavit of authenticity from the author stating that the article written is really his own work and does not contain plagiarism.

Articles are written using the templates that have been provided.

The bibliography consists of at least 10 sources and lists the primary sources of scientific journals of at least 3.

The result of checking the similarity of articles is a maximum of 25%.

  1. Systematics of Writing

The article consists of a minimum of 5 pages and a maximum of 16 pages, typed with a space of 1 in A4 size paper with the typeface Times New Roman size 12 and using body notes. The writing that will be published uses Indonesian and good English.

The composition of the article consists of: Title, Author Name, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion and Bibliography. Please use this TEMPLATE MANUSCRIPT before submitting your paper.

Article Writing Provisions :

Title : 10-15 words.

Author Name : written without a degree, accompanied by an email address and the name of the institution.

Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English, consisting of 100-150 words and containing about: the purpose of the activity, methods and results or products of the activity.

Keywords are written in Indonesian and English, 3-6 words each.

Introduction: contains conditions or problems that are behind or inspire the implementation of activities and the objectives of PKM activities.

Method : describes the means used to solve the problem. Examples of methods: a) Community Education, for example counseling aimed at increasing understanding and awareness, b) Diffusion of Science and Technology, for example activities that produce products for the target group, c) Training, for example activities accompanied by demonstrations or pilots to produce certain skills, d) Mediation, for example activities that show PkM implementers as mediators in solving problems that exist in society, e) Advocacy,  for example, activities in the form of assistance to the target group. Also describe the characteristics of the target group that is a partner of PKM activities.

Results and Discussion: Explaining the results or outcomes of PKM can be in the form of increasing knowledge, skills or in the form of products. The results also state the level of achievement of activity targets. If it is an object, there needs to be an explanation of the spresification of the product, its advantages and disadvantages. External writing needs to be equipped with photos, tables, graphs, charts, images etc. The discussions are in order according to the order in the destination, and have already been explained in advance. The discussion is accompanied by logical argumentation by relating PKM results with theories, other PKM results and or research results.

Conclusion : written succinctly but describes the substance of the PKM results and recommendations for subsequent PKM activities.

Bibliography : Bibliography is written based on the apa 6th (American Psychological Association) model. It is highly recommended to use reference managers (EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero etc.) to make it easier to edit and review.
